One of the fingerstyle greats, Richard Smith. Not many players can go toe to toe with guitar legends like Chet Atkins and Tommy Emmanuel and make it look easy. Born in Beckenham, England, Richard's been playing guitar since he was a young lad in London in the 70s and 80s. His father introduced him to the music of Chet Atkins and Merle Travis and he never looked back. He earned a standing ovation and an encore to boot when he was just 11 at Her Majesty's Theater in London in 1983 when he was invited to sit in with Chet Atkins. He moved to Nashville in 1999, and the rest is, as they say, music history. Read more about Richard on his site. Come see this guitar genius do his thing, you'll be delighted.
